Laurie Adams

Laurie Adams started painting when her children were in school full time and worked for years under the tetelage of renowned artists from the Denver Art Students League. She has achieved a serene and sensitive look to her work. Her soft oil paintings often portray figures in a romantic or quiet/sedate light. The soft glow of her work is often as important as the subject itself. Laurie's work has been exhibited throughout the United States.

The small seaside towns of Cornwall, England have nurtured many famous impressionist artists, attracted by it's veauty and tranquility. John Ambrose has been capturing these atmospheric scenes since 1962. His water glistens and shimmers, his clouds flow majestically across the sky and the jetties, boats and buildings, contracting with the dark against the light, are testaments to his mastery of chiaroscuro.

Canzanella was born in 1948 in Italy. His pictures use the warm, dazzling colors typical of the Mediterranean landscape and bring to mind the eighteenth century Neapolitan paintings. His work can be found in the best galleries in Italy and around the world.

Daughter of an Italian diplomat, D'Alessandro was born in Rome in 1943. When asked what inspires her paintings she replied, "Growing up in Italy I was surrounded by ports with beautiful beautiful boats constantly coming and going. My father and I would often go down to the harbors to look at all the different boats there, it was at that time that I developed my love of boats, and wanted to capture their beauty on canvas.

Ted Jeremenko came to America from Yugoslavia when he was 12 years old, growing up in Philadelphia.  He is a completely self-taught artist, having little or no formal art training.  Notwithstanding, he is today considered one of the masters of Americana in the art world.  Ted’s frequent subject matter, including lighthouses, barns, cottages and village scenes, reflect a passion for simplistic, elegant architecture that derives its strength from the environment around it.  Perhaps the most beautiful element in Ted’s work is his treatment of foliage, using a full range of hues and complimentary colors.

Vincenzo Laricchia was born in January, 1940 in Italy. He was educated at the Accademia of Belle Arti, Naples and Accademia Tibernia and, at the young age of 30 was honored by the Italian President as the most outstanding living painter in Italy. His work is steeped in the tradition of the masters of the 1700’s and 1800’s and is exhibited throughout Europe and the world.

Latour was born in 1935, studied art in Paris and lived there until recently moving to the USA. The paintings of Latour are best known for the beautiful colors of French flower markets, city scenes or a barge along a river. His technique is bold and loose, his palette and brushwork full with paint. This artist brings serenity to the viewer with this unique combination of style and subject.

S.M Lee was born in Korea in 1949. He has been living in NY and exhibiting in the US since 1989. Much of the inspiration for his paintings come from a love of the garden and also the coastal seascapes of Long Island and Cape Cod. Lee is collected widely for his wonderfully detailed natural subjects.

Michael Minthorn received his Bachelor of Arts at St. Mary’s College, studied plein-air painting with Kathy Wipfler and studied with Reinhold Sievers.

Minthorn’s objective is to convey the beauty of our environment and to evoke the emotional responses that we all have when we see the play of light and shadows across trees, lakes and fields. He is especially well known for his dramatic use of light.

The artist works and lives in New England. His work is exhibited throughout the United States.

Paul Naller was born in Rennes, France in December, 1939. Paul’s innate ability was discovered at an early age when he won the gold prize for a city wide art competition and won an L’Ecole des Beaux Arts Scholarship. His schooling allowed him to experiment and push the boundaries of his skill and sensitivity to the basic foundations of the art world. He was especially interested in the textures and colors connected to palette knife painting, which he practiced incessantly. Paul paints anything that has a solid composition and a dramatic light play, using strong, vibrant and rich colors to demonstrate his versatility and skills as a palette knife painter.

William Nelson began his study of art at age twelve at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and continued until awarded a full scholarship to the same school. An artist for over 40 years, William is best known for his impressionistic paintings of the City of Chicago, The Board of Trade and the Chicago Theater. Nelson’s work has been selected by many private, corporate and public collections.

Gerhard Nesvadba was born in 1941 near Frankfurt, Germany. While his early work was abstract compositions, he evolved to impressionist landscapes, based on this travels throughout Europe. His work has been exhibited widely in Europe and around the world.

Ornaghi was born in the Lombard area of Italy in 1930. Orphaned at a very early age, he grew up in an artisans’ institute where he studied design. He later attended the Art Academy, under the direction of Italy’s well-known artist, “Parma.”

Ornaghi enjoys the beauty that he says can only be found in nature. In fact, he spends much of his time in the open air with his portable palette and canvas. His palette is rich in shading, from the cold, slightly misty colors of dawn breaking, to the warm reddish tones of a summer sunset, the tender green of spring and the white winter of snow.

The artist’s work is exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.

Erich Paulsen was born in 1932 in a small village near Berlin. He studied in Berlin at the Meisterschule fur Malerei. Further studies followed in Italy, France and Spain. He prefers landscapes, in particular, subjects around his home in Lower Saxony. His unique palette knife technique and his wonderful colors give his paintings a particular flair. He has exhibited in Germany, throughout the United States and in Australia.

Silvia Reisinger was born in Styria, Austria in 1965.  She studied art history at the Karl-Franzens Universitat.  Reisinger is best known for her use of intense, bright colors.  Her work is heavily influenced by French post impressionism, especially Malva’s paintings (now her husband!), and her love of nature and its flowering colors.  Her work is exhibited in galleries and cultural centers throughout Europe and was introduced in the United States in 1999.

William Rengifo was born in Tarapoto, Peru in 1958 and graduated from Escuela de Bellas Artes de Lima.  Rengifo’s work is inspired by the works of Monet, Renoir and Cezanne, especially as it relates to their ability to capture light.  He struggled for years to affirm his preference for impressionism in an art school that emphasized abstraction, but in the end his style emerged as a genuine representative of the style.  He has presented his work in over 50 shows in South and North America.

Simonetti as born in Italy in 1929, into a well known family of accomplished artists. He began his studies at the School of Art and, as a young man, traveled extensively throughout Italy and France, where he painted from nature and learned from other artists at all the important art centers. His work is well known for brilliant execution of the fundamentals…exquisite drawing, composition and color. He is regularly exhibited in Venice, Milan, Paris and New York.

Francesco Tammaro was born in Naples in 1939.  He received his formal art training at the Instituto D’Arte di Napoli.  For decades, Tammaro’s works have received critical acclaim, especially his knack for creating poetically veiled pictorial expression.  The artist’s most notable sale was a piece entitled “The Farmer’s House,” which sold at auction in New York for $10,000.  The buyer had a tavern rebuilt in his house exactly as Tammaro had portrayed it in his painting!  His work has been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.

Taylor was born in Massachusetts in 1968.  The fact that he was raised within sight of the ocean is evident in most of his paintings.  The artist’s work depicts all facets of coastal areas and marine subjects.  With great artistic talent and using a fine detailed manner, he creates works of extraordinary strength.  Tayler presently lives and works in Massachusetts.  His work is exhibited all over the United States.
