W. Eddie

W. Eddie was born on mainland China in 1955.  He graduated from the Hong Kong Art Academy before moving to New York City in 1984.  Eddie travels extensively and is best known for his bucolic-styled landscapes of Southern France, Italy, Belgium and Vienna.  His work is heavily influenced by the impressionists, especially the work of Claude Monet, with his rich earth tone colors and soft light.  His work is exhibited throughout the United States.

David D. Fernandez

David Fernandez was born on Christmas, 1959. He was educated at the Museo de Arte de Lima and the Escuela de Bellas Artes del Peru, in Lima, graduating with one of highest honors ever. Fernandez is an avid reader and has made an intense study of the International “great masters” (Van Gogh, Monet, Cezanne, Dali and Picasso), as well as National artists such as Victor Humareda, Jose Sabogal and Leonel Velarde. His particular focus is color, color temperature and perspective. Fernandez’ works are widely held in well known collections throughout South America.

Cheryl M. Gross

Cheryl Gross grew up in New York, attended the School of Visual Arts, Hunter College and the Art Students League, and graduated with highest honors from the Pratt Institute.  She is best known for the generous use of her palette, utilizing bold strokes of crimson, cobalt and yellow.  Recently, she has shifted her focus from urban landscapes and studies of the human figure from interesting angles to a variety of musical instruments, including some with historical significance.  In addition to regular shows in the United States, Ms. Gross is a visiting professor at the Pratt Institute and Curator at the Park Slope Artist Counsel.

Joel Holsinger

Joel is a 1992 graduate of Miami University (Ohio) with a BFA in Painting and Graphic Design. He has been painting and drawing prolifically since childhood and has had the benefit of wonderful instructors throughout his development. In the artist's words… "Beneath the surface, the focus of my work is philosophical and spiritual. My paintings are inspired by principles of timeless truth, beauty, wisdom and love. Yevgeny Khrykin

Born in 1972 in Smolensk, Russia, Yevgeny Khrykin was raised in Kiev, where his father was employed as a graphic designer. In addition to Khrykin’s childhood love of drawing caricatures of his schoolmates and teachers, he also taught himself to play the piano and the guitar and composed original music. Khrykin initially studied architecture in college, but ultimately gravitated to art, studying at the Art College of Yaroslavl and the Art College of St. Petersburg. As a hobby, Khrykin constructs miniatures of churches, historic homes, buildings and mills, which he gives to his friends. His paintings reflect his love of architecture with the natural settings of sincere simplicity. He exhibits extraordinary attention to detail, combined with his great appreciation of nature, creating a realism that is warm as well as dramatic. Khrykin’s work is exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.

Vincenzo Laricchia

Vincenzo Laricchia was born in January, 1940 in Italy. He was educated at the Accademia of Belle Arti, Naples and Accademia Tibernia and, at the young age of 30, was honored by the Italian President as the most outstanding living painter in Italy. His work is steeped in the tradition of the masters of the 1700’s and 1800’s and is exhibited throughout Europe and the world.

Yvonne Mora

Yvonne Mora was born in Lima, Peru in 1959. She graduated with honors from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1985 and married the well-known painter William Rengifo. She is best known for her lively figures, especially jazz musicians. Her art pulsates with great energy, unmatched movement and beautiful colors. Erich Paulsen

Paulsen was born in 1932 in a small village near Berlin. He studied at the Meisterschule fur Malerei in Germany; Further studies followed in Italy, France and Spain. He is known especially for his unique palette knife technique and his wonderful colors. The combination produces a particular flair and makes his paintings stand out from all other works of art. The artist prefers landscapes, in particular, around his home in Lower Saxony. He loves the coast and the old houses of the fishermen in the area. He has exhibited in Germany, throughout the United States and in Australia.

Dmitriy V. Proshkin

Dmitriy Proshkin was born in 1973 in Ufa, Russia.  He studied at Ufa’s College of Art between 1988 and 1992, and upon passing the entrance board, began his five year study at Ufa’s Art Institute.  Proshkin’s work is heavily influenced by the masters of landscape, including such great artists as Claude Monet, Pissaro, Sisley and Marke.  He has also extensively studied the Russian masters, including Korovin, Shiskin, Savrosov, Vassilev and Levitan.  The elevated tradition of the Russian masters has become fundamental to him and has served as a guidebook in his own creative development.  Dmitriy’s work can be found in private collections in Russia and throughout Europe and the United States.

J. Rolands

J. Rolands was born in Delft, Holland in 1913 and is still actively painting! Like his father, he became a pharmacist and took lessons in art in his spare time. As he became more interested in painting, he attended the Royal Academy of fine Arts in Amsterdam. Shortly after graduation, he opened a studio and was successful from the start. Rolands’ favorite subjects are Dutch Canal scenes, landscapes and charming street scenes of the old world. His style is very impressionistic-loose and expressive-with exquisite use of architectural elements. His work is exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.

Tino Rusconi

Born in Lecco in 1958, Tino Rusconi has spent most of his life in Bergamo, Italy. His career started relatively late at age twenty when he began working with Gilberto Peruta in his studio. Since then, he has been totally dedicated to his artistic research. Rusconi especially enjoys the study of northern Italian villages and has developed his own unique style. His work is often highly detailed, but contemporary, and reveals his poetic soul. Rusconi had the good fortune to be noticed by Lombard art critics and has gained recognition throughout Europe.

Francesco Tammaro

Francesco Tammaro was born in Naples in 1939.  He received his formal art training at the Instituto D’Arte di Napoli.  For decades, Tammaro’s works have received critical acclaim, especially his knack for creating poetically veiled pictorial expression.  The artist’s most notable sale was a piece entitled “The Farmer’s House,” which sold at auction in New York for $10,000.  The buyer had a tavern rebuilt in his house exactly as Tammaro had portrayed it in his painting!  His work has been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.

Alexander Zerbé

Alexandre Zerbé was born in Montreal, Canada in 1974 and completed his Bachelor’s in Fine Art at Concordia University.  The artist’s interest is to follow a continuity in the figurative lyricism of his acrylics.  Lyricism because the scenes he depicts always seem to contain a sundry object that appears to the spectator as if voluntarily placed, thereby leaving room for interpretation.  He especially enjoys putting emphasis on the impression of décor, often in playful atmospheres.  Zerbé has exhibited throughout Canada.  His work is widely held in the United States and Canada.
