Downe Burns

Downe Burns is a Texas native.  He is largely a self-taught artist with a distinct style that has almost universal appeal.  Downe’s desire is to create works that are both emotive and pleasant.  He avoids the darker moods of the environment, choosing to allow his imagery to create positive feelings.  He especially likes things that are old.  They produce a feeling of substance rich in time and warm with use.  With rich and bright colors, a new life is breathed into something maybe forgotten or gone unnoticed.  Burns has exhibited throughout the United States.
